Women in Nuclear UK welcomes new Finance Director

Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) is delighted to announce that James Weeks has been appointed as its new Finance Director, as Sarah Stewart steps down after seven years of service.

James, Finance Projects Director at EDF (UK), joins WiN UK at an exciting point in its journey. He brings extensive financial leadership experience alongside a strong personal commitment to advancing WiN UK’s mission to achieve greater gender balance in the UK nuclear sector.

His appointment will help ensure continued strong governance and financial stewardship as WiN UK builds on its growing reach, influence and impact.

WiN UK would like to thank Sarah for her outstanding contribution. During her time as Finance Director, Sarah has played a key role in strengthening the organisation’s financial foundations and guiding it through a period of significant change, including its transition to charitable status. Her professionalism, diligence and commitment have helped position WiN UK for long term success.
