We’re proud to announce that Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) has officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant and been awarded the Bronze Award under the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
By signing the covenant, which aims to bridge the gap between military service and civilian life, WiN UK pledges to ensure fair treatment and meaningful support for those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families.
The Bronze Award recognises our intent to be an Armed Forces-friendly organisation and explore opportunities to engage with the community, including veterans, reservists and cadet instructors, about opportunities to transition into nuclear careers.
The commitment aligns with our mission to promote diversity and inclusion across the nuclear sector and opens doors for collaboration with cadet forces, career transition programmes, and initiatives that empower women making the move from military service into civilian careers.
