What was your dream profession when you were young?

A lawyer. I’ve never had a five year plan, I’ve always taken opportunities and looked for development wherever I can.

How have mentors influenced your career progression?

I’ve always sought out mentors who are from other organisations and who hold other roles… it is the best way to get a different insight and a different perspective.

What more can allies do to promote gender balance and inclusivity across the sector?

40% women in nuclear isn’t the right target.  It has to be 50%.
