WiN Western are hosting a panel on shaping a flexible career in a hybrid workspace.

This session will cover

  • How to increase your presence whilst working remotely
  • How to engagingly lead a hybrid team
  • How to manage boundaries when working part time
  • How to open new opportunities via virtual work/learning

Meet our panellists:

Jo Bandle – Group Lead for the Systems Design Team within Atkins Nuclear and Power – a team of approximately 70 engineers spread between 3 locations.  Jo has 2 young children (aged 5 and 7) and enjoys the challenges and benefits of working a flexible 3 day week.

Maisie Nash – Maisie is a Senior Environmental Regulation Consultant at Wood Group. Maisie’s previous role as an Environmental Engineer was solely office and site based. Having moved organisations in early 2022, Maisie now works remotely within a team which are geographically flexible. Maisie manages project teams remotely and delivers projects within a flexible working approach.

Kathryn Tanner – Kat is an Electrical Design Apprentice who started at Cavendish Nuclear in 2019 after a career change. Kat has overcome the challenge of learning remotely and how to manage and promote your skills and abilities in a hybrid environment.”
