Film Screening: Star Makers – Energy of Tomorrow

WiN Cumbria are proud to present a free screening of Star Makers – The Energy of Tomorrow, a UKAEA documentary which goes behind the scenes of a landmark European nuclear fusion energy project., at the Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven.

In December 2021 the world’s largest and most advanced fusion energy experiment, JET, broke the record in producing fusion energy. In the run-up to the successful experiments, a documentary, Star Makers, was filmed that captures the journey of a passionate team working to provide the world with safe, sustainable and low carbon energy in addition to realising a world fusion energy record.
