SUMMARY:POWERful Women Annual Conference 2021
DESCRIPTION:POWERful Women is working to increase the representation of women at the top of the UK energy industry. \nFocus is on Campaigning and Reporting\, Supporting Women in their Careers\, and providing Practical Support for Companies on best diversity and inclusion practice. \nThe annual conference provides an opportunity for top UK energy companies to engage with their peer companies and other key influencers\, to discuss the gender diversity and inclusion issues of the day and to share knowledge on “what works well” – and on what doesn’t – when it comes to improving the numbers and creating a more inclusive workplace where everyone matters. \nThis year’s Conference will take place over two consecutive mornings on 30th November (Day 1) and 1st December (Day 2). Day 1 is free to register and open to everyone and day 2 is is invite only and £95  per ticket. \nDay 1 (30th November) will be a high level plenary session featuring discussions and case studies from energy company CEOs\, regulators and the UK Energy Minister (tbc). \nDay 2 (1st December) is a practical workshop format designed for those working on or influencing D&I in a UK energy company\, to help them better implement strategies that lead to meaningful gender diversity and inclusion initiatives and outcomes. \nComing soon after the conclusion of COP26 in Glasgow\, the event will reflect on the outcome of those important global climate talks and how accelerating diversity and inclusion is absolutely central to creating an effective net zero workforce and sector with the talent\, innovation and consumer engagement that the UK needs for success. \nRegister for tickets here \n  \n
